My daughter has always been a strong English writer. However, in her Grade 11 second semester, she found it challenging to meet her teacher's expectations for an essay assignment. My daughter registered grade 11 English course in summer. The summer course is tough as it spans only a month. We were a bit worried, since her past performance in English was not up to par. Luckily we found Connor and had him provide tutoring to our daughter. The English course is not just about language - it is about critical thinking, analysis and effective presentation of your point of view and ideas. Connor's approach is to teach students these skills. Armed with these skills taught by Connor our daughter was able to score 96%, which is a big jump compared to her 73% score in Grade 10 English. In addition, Connor's focus on the fundamental skills equip students for success in other courses well.
Our Son has been taking lessons from Connor over a year now and it has been a very positive experience. Connor has been an amazing tutor for my 14 year old son. He has been able to identify his strengths and where he needs to focus on more. Connor is great because he teaches kids on how they learn and finds interesting and fun topics that my son is really involved in and keeps him 100 percent engaged the whole time. Wow! Just finished my first session with Connor! It felt like we had know each other forever! He made me feel really confident and like the big assignments were really manageable and not that scary I like the way he approaches the lesson and the way he speaks make me feel calm because he breaks everything down so well!
