Founder Bio
Connor Engels, OCT-certified teacher and founder of TutorENG, has been teaching in Toronto schools and tutoring privately for over five years. He began tutoring during the pandemic in 2020 and quickly discovered a passion for helping students thrive in one-on-one settings. Since then, Connor has guided more than 200 students, including 53 this year alone, helping them achieve stronger grades and greater confidence.
As demand continued to grow, he realized he could not do it alone, and TutorENG was born. Today, Connor leads a team of expert tutors trained in his proven methods, ensuring every student receives the personalized support they need to succeed.

Our Philosophy
At TutorENG, we create a fun, supportive, and flexible learning environment for all grade levels. Our two-pronged approach combines Course Knowledge with Practical Application.
First, we ensure students gain a strong understanding of the material. Then, through proven strategies of application, we help them turn that knowledge into high grades. Many students know the content but struggle on tests; our Practical Application method bridges that gap, building both confidence and results.
